What Makes theLAB Blue Different?

theLAB Blue marks a new chapter for theLAB Guesthouse Collection. Our earlier properties, theLAB Robertson and theLAB Franschhoek, became known for their design: the signature box structures built into the ceilings, and the technology that surrounded guests during their stay. They brought design, technology and creative ideas together in a way that became part of theLAB experience
A different direction
With theLAB Blue, the focus is on space, light and calm. The design is open, the rooms are quiet, and the atmosphere is easy and relaxed. Guests often describe the property as peaceful and easy to settle into.
The property
Set in Franschhoek, theLAB Blue is a nine-room guesthouse with open-plan design, natural light, a garden, swimming pool and jacuzzi.
- Three Economy Rooms
- Five Deluxe Rooms, opening directly onto the garden
Breakfast is served in the dining room. In summer, the patio is a relaxed spot to sit outside with your coffee. In winter, the dining room is a warm place to gather in the morning.
Who it suits
theLAB Blue welcomes couples, families, small groups and corporate retreats. Franschhoek's vineyards and restaurants are close by.
