Detailed description of goods and/or services

theLAB Robertson is a business in the hospitality industry that provides accommodation and related services.

Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 days and delivery confirmed by way of a booking confirmation email with a unique booking ID.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by theLAB Robertson is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability due to unexpected circumstances, theLAB Robertson will attempt to relocate the guest or refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of non-refundable bookings by the client will attract a 100 % administration fee.

Cancellation Policy (Free Cancellation):

• If the booking is cancelled or modified from booking date up to 7 day before date of arrival, there is no charge
• If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Any “No-Shows” will be billed to the agent, individual or company securing the reservation.
• In the event of premature departures, we will be obliged to charge for the full extent of the pre-booked stay.
• All cancellations will only be accepted upon receipt of written confirmation thereof.

Cancellation Policy (Non-Refundable):

• If cancelled or modified or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All our Special Deals are on non-refundable basis.

Terms and Conditions:

• Use of facilities is at own risk
• Diving and jumping into the pool is not allowed
• Only food and drinks purchased at the guesthouse may be consumed in public areas
• Check-in to your room is from 2pm. You are welcome to arrive earlier, drop your bags and relax at the pool. As soon as your room is ready, we’ll let you know.
• Breakfast is served from 08h00 to 10h30
• We offer snacks, light lunch and a dinner menu, preferably booked with advance notice
• We offer local wines and have beer on tab
• Check-out of your room by 11am, unless otherwise arranged.
• theLAB guesthouses accepts card and cash payments.
• No alcohol will be served after 24h00
• The jacuzzi and pool including the surrounding areas may not be used between 22h00 and 07h30 to avoid disturbance to other guests
• The guest accepts responsibility and liability for all items supplied in the room as contained in the room inventory list.
• We reserve the right to retrospectively charge for any items damaged or consumed
• Smoking is only permitted outside away from the building
• We are pet friendly with prior arrangements.
• Massages and other beauty treatments can be booked here in advance for you during your stay, please book online through our website or contact us by phone or email.
• If you booked a room with an optional jacuzzi – this can be pre-booked for R350 per night with advance notice of at least 24H for reservations with minimum 2 night stay – please contact us should you want to book. We need a fair amount of advance notice to ensure we can heat the jacuzzi’s up during solar powered hours
• Bicycles and electric scooters for hire.

Please note that the swimming pool at the property is NOT fenced and guests use the pool at their own risk.

Customer Privacy policy

theLAB Robertson shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Why is Peach Payment mentioned at check out?

Peach Payments performs technical services to support payments to online or internet businesses. This service includes consulting on a selection of technical and administrative topics, configuring and provisioning of a transaction platform, and providing access to this platform.

Card Holder Safety

No sensitive cardholder data is stored on merchants’ servers at any time for either once-off or subscription payments (Please contact your account manager for additional compliance points for REST API integrations).

When a user opts to store card details on a website using Peach Payments, these details are stored by Peach Payments in a PCI DSS level 1 compliant vault. Sensitive cardholder details are directly transmitted from users’ browsers to Peach Payment’s systems. Merchants’ staff and systems do not have access to complete card number details at any point in time, on Peach Payments platforms.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

theLAB Robertson takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and theLAB Robertson chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 15 Nerina Street, Robertson, 7806

Variation

theLAB Robertson may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
